Cool & Smooth donates boxing equipment to Barbuda



Over 45 residents on the sister isle of Barbuda who are already enrolled in an ongoing boxing exercise can now show up for regular sessions without having to worry about waiting in line for use of the limited equipment available to them.

A rather handsome donation of boxing equipment and gear by Cool & Smoth and the Hourani family was made to the country's young athletes through the Barbuda Council on Monday February 16, 2011 at the store's Lower All Saints Road branch.

The equipment which includes boxing gloves, punching bags, mouth guards, head gear, speed ball tables, medicine balls and more, were accepted by Mackenzie Frank, a member of the Barbuda Council.
